    • Definition: Measures your ability to know and recognize the meanings of the words used in the test.
    • Purpose: A wide vocabulary directly affects reading and comprehension skills. Vocabulary tests measure how well an individual recognizes and understands the words they encounter while reading.
  4. Critical Thinking and Analysis:
    • Definition: Tests your ability to critically evaluate, interpret, and analyze the text read.
    • Purpose: Critical thinking refers to an individual’s ability to think deeply about the text they read, question it, and form their own thoughts. These tests measure an individual’s ability to not only understand the text but also evaluate it and make logical inferences about it.
